Here at Thorpe Performance we are dedicated to the pursuit of peak performance for all of our members.

We cater for everyone's individual goals with our offering of ONE-TO-ONE PERSONAL TRAINING, SMALL GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING and INTRODUCTORY COURSES to lifting and nutrition, as well as our infamous GROUP STRENGTH CLASSES, for which MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS are available. Boasting the best selection of equipment in the Vale, an experienced coaching team and our friendly community, we can confidently say that

GROUP STRENGTH CLASSES

Our infamous GROUP STRENGTH CLASSES are the most popular way to train here at Thorpe Performance.

Choose from our available class passes or monthly membership options and gain access to coach-led classes six days a week. Read below to learn how each class may vary in style, but all are built from the same foundation:

STRENGTH TRAINING

 

HIIT-STRONG

The key is in the name with our HIIT-STRONG class. This is a full body session using a variety of kit to build a body as strong and fit as it looks. Expect intervals, AMRAPs, timers and sweat. Be ready to blast it on our Ski-Erg, sprint on our Assault Bike and suffer a burpee (or two)!

LEVEL

BEGINNER - ADVANCED (SCALABLE)

TECHNICALITY

LOW - MODERATE

HYBRID

Utilising five separate training zones in and around the gym, expect an hour of power. We call this session HYBRID for a reason: this session borrows from all corners of fitness. The intensity is high; both in heart rate and the sheer amount of work covered in the hour! 

LEVEL

BEGINNER - ADVANCED (SCALABLE)

TECHNICALITY

LOW - MODERATE

STRONG

This hour and a half session is STRONG is name, STRONG in nature. This is the heaviest session of the week, in which the loads and/or volumes are incrementally progressed week on week. Think lifting, carrying, tyre flipping and heavy prowler pushing. This is a BIG session.

Join us in THE GYM for one class of our Group Strength Classes, working as part of a small group and under strict COVID-19 measures. No matter which class you choose, we promise you a session which will get you both lifting and sweating!

Prefer the flexibility of a block of classes as opposed to a monthly membership? Then this is the package for you. Join us in THE GYM for 12 of our Group Strength Classes, working as part of a small group and under strict COVID-19 measures. Use your 12 GYM CLASSES up as quickly or staggered as you wish (within six months).

ONE-TO-ONE PERSONAL TRAINING

It's through one-to-one PERSONAL TRAINING that our coaches really hone in on your individual goals and programme your training accordingly. SMALL GROUP TRAINING

Training as part of a small group of people you know, trust and feel motivated by can be hugely beneficial. You may wish to train with your partner, a group of friends or get the whole family exercising. This option offers the perfect marriage of training as part of a team, but with closer to the contact time and support of a personal training session at a significantly reduced cost. Simply split the hourly rate between your group of 2 - 6 people. Get in touch with us to explore further.
